Schmoo hits London Stores
With its much anticipated launch into the southern stores, Schmoo Lassi will finally be available in a selection of 100 Tesco stores in London and surrounding areas from the end of September. The Yorkshire Post covered the story. The addition comes after the success of the drink in Yorkshire, Lancashire and Manchester regions. We think London will be a great target and that there will be lots of people in the area who will enjoy the taste of fresh, pure lassi. Schmoo Sample Success at Masternaut
Schmoo was approached by Masternaut after a member of staff tried the drink when a free sample was included in a Tesco online home delivery, and mentioned it to colleagues. Masternaut a top vehicle tracking and data company on the outskirts of Leeds employees over 150 staff which include many young professionals (ideal for getting some feedback on Schmoo). The Lunchtime treat started with employees coming out into the court yard and being greeted with all three flavours of Schmoo Yoghurt Lassi and a host of Indian buffet foods. Schmoo Lassi is now available in certain areas of North England online at www.Tesco.com. You can order all three flavours, Mango, Vanilla, and Strawberry. You can find Schmoo by login on at Tesco.com and searching for 'Schmoo' under the 'I'm looking for section'. Alternatively you can select DAIRY> MILK> MILK AND YOGHURT DRINKS from the left hand side menu. Happy Shopping!
First Mango Schmoo Lassi - finished...
We just received a parcel and in it was a fresh Mango Schmoo Lassi. This is the first off the production line for Tescos which is in store from today. The label is looking really nice and shiny. The condensation on the outside of the bottle made this one even more appetising. As you can see it didn't last long. "As I unscrewed the cap, the smell of vanilla gently wafted from the bottle, not too overpowering, but just aromatic enough to draw me in instantly. I looked round the table, and saw the rest of the academy were equally as enchanted with this rather unique beverage.
The first taste was one that was incredibly organic, the vanilla pods I had spied earlier had done justice in tasting just as good as they smelt! The texture was one that is hard to describe, it was completely smooth like a fine yoghurt, but with the power to instantly satiate you and quench your thirst. The experience of drinking a 'Schmoo' had thrown me into a frame of mind where I felt summer was just around the corner and left me with a feeling of optimism."
Printing Shiny Labels
We went down to a print factory in Hull on Friday to watch the new Schmoo labels being printed. They have great vibrant colours in them and a brilliant metallic shine. All ready for launch now on the 27th of April lnp
